The jellyfish is made up of about 90% water.
It is said that when it dies, it dissolves and disappears...

Inspired by the moment of a jellyfish’s fading existence,
I titled this artwork “Ephemeral,” meaning transient or fleeting.

Although flowers are depicted around it, they are actually hydrangeas.
The hydrangea’s flower language symbolizes change or transience.
In this painting, they represent the ever-shifting flow of time—
the time of life itself, and the time within one’s journey.

This also reflects the nature of human life—
we never know when the end will come.
We live each day as if tomorrow is guaranteed,
rarely realizing how precious it truly is.

May we always face ourselves sincerely,
and live true to our hearts.

■ INFINITY ART Message

海月（クラゲ）は約90％が水分で出来ています。
死ぬと溶けて消えてしまうのだとか...。

そんな “ 海月（クラゲ）の死にゆく様 ” から
タイトルは"儚さ"を意味する「ephemeral」としました。

周りには花が描かれていますが、実は紫陽花です。
紫陽花の花言葉には「移ろい」の意味があります。
この絵画の中では
「常に移ろいゆく時間」（命の時間、人生の時間）の意味合いで描きました。

それは、人の死も然り。いつ来るか、わからない終わり。
当然のようにくる明日を、有難くも思わずに
当たり前のように過ごしている私たちですが
いつも自分自身と向き合って（本音で）行きたい（生きたい）ですね。
